WELCOME DR. ADRIAN JOHNSON – EMS PRogram director

CAMSEN CAREER INSTITUTE would like to welcome our new EMS Program Director, Dr. Adrian Johnson. Dr. Johnson has recently retired from Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department, as a District Chief with over 30 years of service to his community. Dr. Johnson earned his Doctorate in Educational Leadership from the University of North Florida in 2015, he earned his Masters Degree in Business Administration from Jacksonville University in 2001, his Bachelors of Science from JU in 1999 and his Associates in EMS Management in 1996 from Florida Community College of Jacksonville.

Dr. Johnson is going to be a great asset to Camsen Career Institute to not only improve the quality of our programs but to also assist bringing new programs to Camsen such as Fire Officer Training Courses, Critical Care training and eventually degree programs in Fire and EMS.

opened in Feb of 2012. The goal in opening this campus is to provide a quality education at an affordable price. We have developed this campus with the working adult student in mind. About the Owner

The founder of Camsen Career Institute is a Veteran of the US Navy and currently at Firefighter/Paramedic for Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department, assigned to one of the busiest Rescues in the City, running over 4000 emergency calls per year. He has 24 years experience working in the 911 setting. He also over 20 years of education experience with more than 15 of those years managing and operating EMT and Paramedic Programs. His life long commitment to public service shows in his passion for educating others, not only to help them improve there personal careers but also giving them a chance to make a difference in the lives of the communities they serve.

He has built this program to be flexible for every hard working adult, without sacrificing the quality of education and training the everyone in the health care industry and Emergency Medical Services deserve.
